Once installed these rubber bellows will protect the fork seals and inner tubes of your fork. The seals on my former bike, XL600V Transalp, was ok after 160000 km. Damage the fork seals and you are looking at a medium front jobbie. Damage the fork inner tube and we are talking about big bucks and a big front job. If you care more about the life of your Duv than the looks, get two of these. After all they are not that ugly, and they somehow blend in with the horisontal lines under the headlamp.
